I just had my first Networking Bootcamp. It was great. I have to admit I was terrified and exhilarated at the same time. Strange but true. What lessons did I learn? I learned that if you build it they will come. I had an idea, I put it out there in the way of a flyer and then waited to see what the response might be. Lo and behold it was great, I had 5 attendees for my first session. Perfect group to work with. The session went well, the group was engaged and I learned a lot about how I can improve this for the next session.
The moral of the story is: Launch and then go. I was not as ready as I wanted to be before I launched, but I believed it would work. When I launched and saw that there was a good response I quickly got ready. I say go for it.
